Hey beauties! I hope everyone is having an amazing weekend so far. I wanted to make a quick PSA before I get into this post to tell everyone that this whole weekend Sephora is giving away free face masks and this coming Sunday the 29th MAC Cosmetics will be giving away free lipsticks in celebration of National Lipstick Day. Make sure you get there as soon as possible because it is only until supplies last. With that out of the way let’s get into this July’s favorites!
This month I have five favorites! The first favorite of the month (which is my ultimate favorite) is the yellow ALDO purse. I absolutely love how chic and fashionable this purse is. It has to be my favorite purchase I’ve made in a long time! It was only $19 on sale.
The second favorite I have this month is the Urban Decay Born To Run palette. I am obsessed with the color scheme and even the packaging this palette has! It’s extremely pigmented and the eyeshadows blend seamlessly together. I was very happy with this purchase and have used this palette so much since I got it!
The third favorite from this month is the Bela soaps I got as PR! I am obsessed with these soaps and have been nonstop using the Lavender one. It’s an amazing product and I recommend trying out this brand! They offer top notch beauty products. I’ve used their soaps, chapsticks and bath bombs and I have yet to be disappointed.
The fourth favorite I have this month is the glitter coasters from Francesca’s. These coasters are super cute and have saved my furniture from getting water rings and damage from drinks. They work well and look super cute, I have to say… I’m completely obsessed!
The fifth and final favorite from this month is Hourglass Veil Translucent Setting Powder. This setting power is amazing and makes my skin look flawless. It’s especially great for the summer because it saves my makeup from the heat and humidity!

As you may know, I have recently been doing food favorites for the past few months. I am not a big foodie but I feel that this is a way to get me to try new things I otherwise wouldn’t test out. I’m a very picky eater so doing this monthly food favorites post helps. I also like to use this as a platform to tell you my favorite things to eat! Like I’ve said in previous food favorites posts, I also wanted to dive into this part of lifestyle blogging because I wanted to broaden my horizons!
This Month’s Food Favorites Are:
An Oreo Blizzard from DQ! Dairy Queen recently gave out free blizzards so I had to throw this up as a favorite of mine from this month! It was absolutely delicious, which is surprising for me since I was never a cookies and cream kind of person!
A strawberry frosted donut! I have had these before but I wanted to put this in my food favorites because I forgot how much I love strawberry frosted donuts.
Fried Oreos are next on my food favorites list this month. Before doing this I wouldn’t have dared tried a fried Oreo but it was delicious.
I love Panera Bread, it’s one of my favorite restaurants. I always get the same thing but since I haven’t been there in a long time (almost 4 months) I seriously missed it. So, I’m putting Panera Bread’s French Onion Soup and Spicy Thai Chicken Salad on this month’s food favorites list.

I had a few people message me about how they loved my food favorites of the month idea so I’m back with this post for June! I definitely like this aspect of lifestyle blogging because it helps me venture out of my comfort zone with food (since I’m super picky). I also like that it gives you readers a break from just beauty, fashion etc. I don’t have many favorites this month but there are two foods I had that were absolutely amazing, and I have to share.
With this favorite I’m bringing it back to the late 1950’s early 1960’s with this snack! Jiffy Pop was never something I ever dreamed of trying but I decided to give it a shot after my boyfriend found it at the Dollar Tree! This snack is a classic, so I figured it has to be good. Well, I have to say this tasted exactly like movie theater popcorn and it was super fun to make!
The last snack that I absolutely loved was Holtermann’s cupcakes. Holtermann’s is a bakery shop in Staten Island, NY. They have amazing lightweight homemade cupcakes and icing. I had the strawberry flavor which was delicious and light. These cupcakes are definitely worth the drive from where I live.

I am not much of a foodie but I wanted to venture into this part of lifestyle blogging at least once! I had tried a couple of foods that I never had before and wanted to blog about it. One food is an actual meal, the second food is a snack I picked up and the third is a healthy late night snack I had!
I love Cheesecake Factory, I usually get white chicken chili when I go but I decided to go another route and try something different. I wanted something light yet savory, since it was only lunch time. I decided that instead of white chicken chili I would get avocado toast. I had yet to try avocado toast yet so I gave it a whirl. This dish had a panini type bread, avocado spread, onions, tomatoes, and watercress. It was delicious and I only ate two pieces because it was extremely filling.
I rarely ever go to 7/11 but I made a quick decision to make a pit stop there to try Taco Bell’s new sauce themed chips. They were very good and tasted exactly like the Taco Bell sauces. Just don’t eat a whole bag like I did because the heart burn will definitely set in. I had tried both mild and fire chips and I loved both. Mild tasted a lot better than fire did.
Late Night Healthy Snack
I really wanted a late night snack but I wanted it to be a healthier alternative to cookies or ice cream. So I decided to put whipped cream on a strawberry and it was amazing. It wasn’t any type of special recipe but I enjoyed it more than any type of cookie or ice cream I could have had.

I feel that once a month I have a select few accessories that I wear consistently. With this I decided to try something new and post about the accessories that are my favorite every month! This won’t include jewelry like the bracelet I never take off or my promise ring.
This month I’ve noticed myself wearing a gold layered gemstone necklace from Forever 21 that I received as a gift from my friend. I love layered necklaces and this one has a very pretty gypsy feel to it that I am obsessed with.
The next accessory I am constantly wearing are a pair of dangling earrings I got a long time ago from Fashion Bug (woah blast from the past). I never wore accessories way back when but I always bought them anyway. I thought these super cute dangling ombre earrings were way ahead of its time in 2012 because they are still so cute!
Another accessory I’ve been wearing a lot lately is a watch I got from a store in the Netherlands with a colorful mandala on the face! It’s super cute and versatile since it goes with a lot of different outfits.
Lastly, I have been wearing a pair of gold dangling earrings with colored accents. They are small yet elegant. I actually got these from an AC Moore craft store in a pack of earrings.

This March I gathered some of my favorites that I have seriously been obsessed with. These are products or accessories that I continue to go back to during the month. So what are the favorites from this month?
• The one favorite from this month I continuously wear is the opal necklace I got for Valentines Day. I hadn’t had a chance to wear it in February but I’ve worn it so many times this March. It’s my go-to accessory lately!
• The second favorite from this month is the eye cool packs. These eye cool packs are from Forever 21 which I got recently for $1.50! These can be thrown into the fridge, and then you apply these your eyes. They stop bags under the eyes! They are amazing!
• The third favorite from this month is the red-eye relief, since spring had sprung the pollen count has been extremely high. I am constantly grabbing this red eye relief and it works super well to stop those itchy red eyes we get from dreaded pollen.
• The fourth favorite from this month is Elf’s natural glow lotion. I use this when I go to the gym instead of doing my makeup. It gives me a nice glow and I won’t break out from sweating with makeup on but will still look glowy and cute!

YouTube is what got me into makeup and also inspired me to create my own corner of the internet. It’s also where I learned how to do makeup! I have a few favorite Gurus from the beauty community that I’d like to share:
I like Laura Lee a lot because she is fun and quirky but she isn’t afraid of being herself. I started watching her because she had a lot of tutorials for beginners that were easy to follow.
Honestly, Nikkie is super talented and fun to watch as she does many different makeup looks. I started watching her after seeing how well her challenge videos come out. She has done kids makeup challenge that ends up looking amazing. Her talent is incredible.
Manny MUA is funny and has such a unique personality. I started watching Manny after seeing the fun reviews he does on his channel. I also really appreciate the little voices he makes during his videos.
Jeffree Star is super talented, truthful and has a unique and beaming personality. I radiated towards Jeffree’s channel because I trusted Jeffree’s truthful opinion on what is Jeffree Star Approved and what is not.
And lastly, Jaclyn Hill who is talented and can rock any makeup look. I started watching her when she released her Morphe Favorites palette.

This month I have a few favorites that I am absolutely obsessing over! Most of it is skincare but I am super excited to share these products!
My #1 favorite from this month is definitely Burt’s Bees beeswax lip balm. This was a life saver this month. Since February is cold, my lips were severely chapped. The only savior was Burt’s Bees! It helped revive my chapped lips!
#2 is Boscia Black Mask. This stuff saved me from clogged pores. Wearing makeup everyday can become problematic, especially when you are prone to clogged pores. This saved me from numerous blackheads.
#3 is OLEHENRIKSEN Truth Serum, this stuff really helped keep my skin looking supple. It is a facial oil and it smells and works amazingly.
#4 Colourpop Ultra Satin lippies, no specific color. I have really been loving the Ultra Satin lippies because I needed to take a break from the matte liquid lipsticks. This is a perfect alternative!
#5 CEO Sunday Riley this is an amazing moisturizer. This helped my dry skin in just one use!
#6 Cute Dangle earrings. I got these earrings in a pack from A.C. Moore and these are my favorite things ever. I am in love with how stylish these are. They were also only $4!

This month I have empty products that I’ve been religiously using and I want to show you guys these amazing holy grail items! You might want to go out and get these for yourself after reading this!
First, I used up all of my Tarte Shape Tape Concealer in shade Fair Neutral. This concealer is the best I have ever used! It covers up almost everything, and it helps brighten even the darkest of under eye circles!
The second empty product I have from this month is MAC Brow Pencil in shade Lingering! I love this small defining pencil, it really helps chisel the brows and with detailing them!
The third empty is Downy Wrinkle Release Spray. This spray is honestly one of the best things to have walked into my life. Sometimes you run late and don’t have enough time to iron your outfit, or your outfit gets wrinkled on your way to school, work Etc. Just spray this on your clothes and you are wrinkle free! They even have to-go sizes so you can be wrinkle free even though it your day!
Lastly, is the fourth empty product Too Faced Hangover Rx Face Primer. This stuff works great, I like it because I have dry skin and this works as a moisturizer and a primer. I love this primer most out of all my primers!
