September 2018 BootayBag (9/30/2018)

Hey fashionistas! I am super excited to share with you that my BootayBag posts are back. If you were wondering where they went during the month of August, I have answers. I had to change the payment method for my BootayBag subscription. Since I missed the payment deadline for August due to this change, I wasn’t able to get the August edition. After everything was finally changed over, I got both pairs of underwear from August and September during this month!

This month of September I got two pairs of sheer black underwear that are strappy and very cute. These are great quality and very comfortable. I only get the non-thong but thong is also available for this subscription as well as a combination of both. Also, I opted for the one pair subscription which means that I only get one pair of underwear per month for only $7/mo. You could also get the two pairs subscription where you get two pairs of underwear for $14/mo. Sometimes BootayBag gives you an extra pair every few months to either keep or give it to someone who needs it.

I am really happy with this subscription and I feel that it has helped me upkeep my undergarment drawer. I hope you enjoyed this post and remember to subscribe for email notifications for when I post new content. If you are interested in getting BootayBag feel free to use my promo code to get $10/mo for two pairs your first month! Comment down below what your thoughts are on this subscription.

FabFitFun is a quarterly subscription box that comes seasonally to give you goodies that go from skincare to beauty to fashion to home decor to health to lifestyle products! It’s jam packed with tons of amazing brands and I am so happy that I finally joined to get this box because it’s one of the best subscription boxes I’ve ever had. So what’s inside this month’s box? Let’s get to it!

This month I got a Vince Camuto black and gray tote bag which will definitely come in handy this fall! I also got a pair of Bluetooth headphones from the brand Cylo, I can’t wait to try these out. I’ve been waiting to get a pair of these headphones ever since Apple took away the headphone jack and I just hadn’t gotten around to it. The next thing in this month’s box is yogahhh! detox bath soak from the brand cuccio, this will be perfect for an after-the-gym relaxing sesh. Another item I got, which is bath related, is the Skin & CO Blue in CAPRI shower gel and I absolutely love how good this smells. The last few items I am so excited about, first being the tea towel by Simply Whimsical. I don’t own my own house at the moment but I still love getting home decor. I guess you can say I am preparing early for the future! The next item that is also home related is an Alfred French Press, I honestly cannot wait to have my own house and display this super cute French Press! The second to last item is the two Glamglow face masks we got in this seasons box. I love Glamglow and it is honestly so amazing to see these name brands in FabFitFun! The last item we got, that I am super excited about is the Beauty Blender! By getting just this item alone, you are already making almost half of your money back. This box has a higher value than its $50 price tag and all of these amazing products just go to show that!

I loved everything in my box and I cannot wait to use all of my goodies! Ipsy Glam Bag Unboxing September 2018 (9/27/2018)

Hey beauties! I’m super excited to share that I have made the decision to continue getting Ipsy Glam Bags. This is mostly because I am doing unboxings on my YouTube channel of this with AlexaTheGirlGamer. I saw many other people getting better products now which definitely influenced my decision.

This month the theme was an empowering message that said “The question isn’t who is going to let me, it’s who is going to stop me.” I absolutely love the theme and I also love the Bag this month. What I got in my Ipsy Glam Bag this September is Make Up Forever ULTRA HD Perfector in Warm Sand #6. I also got Trestique lip glaze in , the next thing that I got was also another lip product from Manna Kadar Cosmetics the liplocked priming lip wand in Belle. I had also gotten an eyeshadow from IBY in shade Fire & Ice and a highlighting blush from Nomad Cosmetics in shade Positano Sunrise.

I really liked the Make Up Forever foundation, the lip glaze, and lip wand. The IBY eyeshadow is in a shade that I wouldn’t normally use and the blush was kind of chalky. If you would like to see me unbox this Ipsy take a look at my YouTube video Ipsy Glam Bag Unboxing September 2018! I hope you enjoyed this post and remember to subscribe for email notifications for when I post new content. Comment down below what your thoughts are on this Ipsy Glam Bag!

September 2018 Boxycharm (9/26/2018)

Hey beauties! It’s the time of month where we get to talk about Boxycharm! I absolutely love this beauty subscription box and I personally feel that this one is the best out of all of them. Boxycharm always provides five full-size products in each box from amazing companies. It’s only $21/mo but the value of what is in the box is definitely much greater than that.

This month Boxycharm had the theme Wild Flower so they picked products accordingly. I got a marbled highlighting blush from Laura Geller in the shade Tropic Hues. I really liked this blush because it was buildable, it had a nice shimmer to it, and it was pigmented. The next thing in this box was Alamar eyeshadow brushes. These synthetic brushes seemed like very good quality and I am never mad when getting brushes because it helps expand my brush collection. The next item I wasn’t necessarily happy about was Butter London’s Stroke Of WOW roller eyeliner. I just feel that this type of eyeliner is not practical and doesn’t work well even when I swatched it. If this worked for you please understand that something that may not have worked for me may work for others. I just personally don’t like this item. The next product that we got in our Boxycharm is the Pretty Vulgar Nightingale eyeshadow palette. I am very happy with this item because I personally love Pretty Vulgar products, especially their palettes. Their eyeshadows are super pigmented and very bendable I will be doing a separate post on this palette! The last item that I received was Hank & Henry Matte Liquid Lipstick in shade Petal Pusher. I really loved the color of this shade and I felt that it’s a perfect lip for early fall. Something to note about this lipstick is that it is not fast-drying which does not bother me personally because I wear regular cream lipsticks often.

Overall, I really loved this month’s box! I am usually never disappointed with Boxycharm. I hope you enjoyed this post and remember to subscribe for email notifications for when I post new content. If you are interested in getting a Boxycharm subscription feel free to use my promo code: Steph-UEWVPIQO at checkout! Comment down below what products you liked from this box.

September JustFab (9/20/2018)

It has finally come! The day I get to show you guys what I got from JustFab this month. I know you might be thinking that I got yet another pair of shoes but I haven’t. I needed something important so I decided to get what I needed instead. It was hard to pass up a cute pair of boots but sometimes it’s necessary.

I got a super cute tote bag because I needed it for school. Since I am commuting this year I have to carry around a lot of my books because I can’t really leave anything home. So, I needed a nice size tote bag and I got this one. It meets my needs and it fits all of my books! I’m very happy with it but I am afraid that the buttons holding the straps will break off just because my bad is so heavy, although it is holding up pretty well.

I absolutely loved this purchase and if you want to join JustFab and get a discount on your first order use my promo link: http://m.justfab.com/invite/136745583! I hope you enjoyed reading this post and remember to subscribe for email notifications for when I post new content. Make sure you comment down below what your thoughts are on this tote bag!

August 2018 Boxycharm (8/30/2018)

Hey beauties! Today I will be unboxing my Boxycharm with you all. I love Boxycharm so so much and honestly this subscription box beats basically every single one out there in my opinion. You get full-size name brand products every month for only $21 per month. Let’s see what goodies are in this month’s box!

I was half disappointed and half excited for this month’s box. I saw that I got the Tarte Sweatproof mascara which is okay and all but I really wanted the House Of Lashes, lashes that was an available product. But it’s okay, I’m glad that it was Tarte mascara to say the least. But I will get into why else I was half disappointed and half excited.

So the first product I was pretty excited about were these Wander Beauty eye masks. I am never sad about getting skincare products, especially face masks. I feel that, with all of the subscriptions I had and currently have, the Beauty boxes replenish all my skincare. I’ve only used makeup from this company (which can be found on Sephora.com) so I am excited to test out some of their skincare products.

Okay, so this product I wasn’t elated about but I am not mad about it. I saw that we had the possibility of getting a cuticle oil and personally that’s not something that gets me excited. But, with the terrible cuticles I have I am also not mad about getting this product because I honestly will use this. Especially with the colder months coming upon us, this will definitely be necessary.

Something that I wasn’t really into in my box that made me half disappointed is this Bang Beauty Gel Eyeliner in brown. First of all, I don’t think I’ll ever use brown eyeliner. Second of all, I’ve never heard of the company (not to say it isn’t good or worth trying) but I was interested in a ton of different products we had the chance of getting and this was not one of them. But I will definitely try and give this item a chance.

Like I said previously, this is another thing that kind of disappointed me in this box. I really wanted the House Of Lashes, Lashes that we could possibly get but I got the Tarte Sweatproof mascara instead. I am not mad about it because I will use it (even though it’s a brown mascara). But I definitely would have rather gotten something else. Other than the fact that I wanted the fake lashes, I actually do like the product itself.

This Smashbox Be Legendary Pucker Up Lipstick Palette is something that I was very happy about. This particular item turned my frown upside down. I was super excited about getting this and I am even more excited to try it out. I love the shade range as well and I feel it would be a perfect palette for the upcoming season.

The last product has me a little iffy. I don’t blame Boxycharm for why this product has got me feeling down. I personally like Laura Lee Los Angeles products and I was a subscriber of Laura Lee which is why I’m half happy about this product. BUT I don’t agree with some things that she has said in the past and this month she was surrounded with a lot of controversy. So, I personally feel that it almost ruined the box this month especially for those who were offended and hurt by her words. This is why I am iffy about this product but I understand that Boxycharm really had no idea that these string of events would occur. In addition to that, I wasn’t sure if I would ever use this palette since it’s all bright neon colors which is the least of my concerns considering everything else but it was also something I noted when I got the palette as well.

PLEASE NOTE:

These are my own personal thoughts and if you do not agree with them I 100% respect that. I do understand that Laura Lee did apologize for her mistakes but at the time I wrote this I hadn’t seen the apology video yet. If you are a fan I hope you understand that I am in no way trying to offend or disrespect anyone. I will not state my feelings about Laura Lee or this situation but do know that I respect everyone’s thoughts, feelings and opinions. All I ask in return is for you to respect mine.

Otherwise I felt that this box was half great and half ehhh. I never really get disappointed with Boxycharm but this month wasn’t my absolute favorite. I hope you enjoyed this post and remember to subscribe for email notifications for when I post new content. Please comment below what your thoughts are on this box.

Influenster VoxBox Review: L’Oréal Sublime Bronze Self Tanner (8/23/2018)

Hey everyone! I was lucky enough to get yet another VoxBox from Influenster, which basically means I got another free product to test. I will further explain what Influenster is and how you can score free products for yourself as well as my review of this free product I was given.

I want to just explain what Influenster is first before getting into the nitty gritty details. Influenster is an amazing company that allows its members to get free products to review in exchange for free products. I know it sounds sketchy, especially because anything that usually sends you “free products” is a scam but I promise you it is not a scam! I’ve gotten tons of free products and all they ask for in return is for you to review the product and share it on social media.

To get involved in Influenster you can download their app which is available on both on iOS and Android. You could also use their website platform as well. Once you do this they will ask you to make an account with them which requires an email, password and phone number.

Once you download the app and make an account you will have to connect all types of social media you have. This will help with your impact score. Your impact score translates to how many people follow, subscribe, and you are friends with on social media. If you have a high impact score you are able to reach more people and will have a higher chance at getting a VoxBox (a free product to review).

Once you link all social media you can earn badges in different subjects. This will give Influenster a better gear towards what type of VoxBox to send you (Makeup, accessories/clothes, exercise items etc.). Also, the more badges you have the better of a chance you have at getting a VoxBox.

How do you know if you are getting a VoxBox? You never really know when it will happen but just keep an eye out for email surveys from Influenster that say you qualify for a VoxBox. Taking these surveys will get you in the drawing for a box and if you are being sent a VoxBox you will get an email saying “You’re in”. Then you get to complete brand badges which are badges that all different brands allow you to unlock when you review a product of theirs in a VoxBox or a VirtualVox.

After you get your first VoxBox, you have to check-in your box to notify Influenster that you received it. Then you will have to complete mandatory tasks (i.e. reviewing the product on the brands website, follow the social media accounts of the brand, share on social media etc.). These mandatory tasks give you points that add up to 100 points total. After completion, it will allow you to “unlock” a brand badge which is necessary in order to qualify for more VoxBoxes in the future. Once you finish all of the tasks you have to keep an eye out for a possible incoming email survey about the product you tested. The survey is mandatory in order to qualify for more VoxBoxes. With every VoxBox you could also win additional products because if you complete your badge you are entered into a contest. But you can also join the Influenster Twitter or Facebook party where they live tweet/post and if you reply to all the tweets with the appropriate hashtags and @-ing the appropriate brands you can get a MegaVoxBox.

There are other Badges that everyone is able to unlock. Sometimes this will be a badge for Halloween where you just have to review your favorite candy or a badge during Christmas where you make a list of gifts you want that year. Each themed badge has different tasks but they are easy to unlock and you don’t need to receive a VoxBox to get this badge.

Influenster also has VirtualVoxes. This is essentially a “Virtual VoxBox”. You qualify to be in a VirtualVox and you have tasks that involve you taking “shelfies” with the product (a selfie with a product on a store shelf) or testing out the sample of the product in the store and reviewing it. These are just as important as VoxBoxes and you get these more frequently. In a VirtualVox you still have to complete a mandatory brand badge but you will be entered into a contest to win either a MegaVoxBox which is a huge VoxBox with tons of products or something for free from that brand.

On Influenster you are able to look up products and review the products themselves. This will increase your chances of getting a VoxBox. The more you review the better! Plus, this will help you increase your levels for different badge subjects like Beauty or Fashion! You also have to remember, the more products that you review in a certain subject you will have more of a chance of getting products related to that subject.

You can also answer and ask questions. This is where you can help fellow Influensters make decisions about product purchases. You can even ask your own questions about different products and other Influensters will help you out as well! This can help you achieve a badge if you answer enough questions and if your answers are liked.

You are also able to make lists of products. This is a very cool feature to have because sometimes if you want to make a wishlist that can be hard. Influenster makes it easy for you to make a list of products and sometimes this is necessary for you to get a badge.

There is also a new feature called Snaps. I’ve been on Influenster for a long time and this is only about half a year old or so. Snaps are surveys Influenster gears towards your interests. Influenster also picks out products for you to review related to your previous reviews. These are all things that help you get a VoxBox.

Now that I explained in detail what Influenster is as well as what a VoxBox is and how to get one, let’s get into the review of this VoxBox. I was lucky enough to get the L’Oréal Sublime Bronze VoxBox. This included a Hydrating Self Tanning Milk. I was super happy to get this because I need a self tanner to keep my tan fresh looking from vacation.

I quickly lose my tan so a self tanner is a must for me. When I tried this I felt my skin was a lot more hydrated than any other self tanner I’ve used in the past. It was lightweight and it didn’t seem to clog my pores. It also gave me a gorgeous natural looking glow. I absolutely love this self tanner and the packaging is also very pretty and it is definitely well made. I like that this product has a hand-pump because it makes it easy to pump out product for an easy application. If you are looking for an instant result this is not one of those products. This takes at least two days to really build a tan if you don’t have a good base tan.

I am really appreciative to have received this VoxBox and I want to thank both L’Oréal and Influenster for this opportunity to review this product for completely free of cost (not even shipping/handling). I hope you enjoyed this post and remember to subscribe for email notifications for when I post new content. Comment down below any questions about Influenster you have. July BootayBag (7/31/2018)

Hey everyone! Finally, my BootayBag came in. BootayBag is an underwear subscription service that allows me to never have to shop for overpriced underwear again. You can get BootayBag starting at $7 a month which is only one pair of underwear per month. They also have a subscription for $14 per month which is two pairs of underwear per month. You also have the option between thong, never thong and mix it up. Thong meaning you will only get things sent to you. Never thong meaning you will only get hip huggers, booty short underwear and anything else but a string up the butt! Mix it up means you want both or either-or it doesn’t matter, this is for those who want to be completely surprised with what you get!

This month, BootayBag sent me a complimentary pair of underwear! I only pay $7 for one pair of underwear per month and they sent me two this month. This was a very pleasant surprise and I’m super excited about it. I got a super cute pink lacy pair with a floral design. I also got a no-show pair that are white and teal striped with little polka dots on the teal stripe. I am completely obsessed with each pair I got!

I was in need for new underwear and BootayBag gave me an easy solution, just get a new pair every month for cheaper than what you’d normally pay at Pink, Victoria’s Secret and sometimes even Target. I am quickly transitioning all of my older underwear out and soon I will have a drawer completely full of just BootayBag. If you are interested in this monthly subscription feel free to use my referral link to get a free $10: http://i.refs.cc/Mhc33EWE?u=1528341747108 !

I hope you enjoyed this post and remember to subscribe for email notifications for when I post new content. Comment down below what your thoughts are on BootayBag and the underwear I received this month!

July Boxycharm (7/24/2018)

One of my favorite times of the month! Boxycharm has arrived and I couldn’t be more excited to unbox what I got with you all. Boxycharm has to be my ultimate favorite beauty subscription box, they always have the best products and they are all usually full-size name brand products!

This month I loved all of my products! I got the Tarte Ready Set Radiant Facial Spray, Note Cosmetics Blush, Dr. Brandt Needles No More, No More Baggage Eye De-Puffing Gel, Chella Eyebrow Cream and Wander Beauty Mascara! They are all full-size products, brands that I recognize and have heard of before. It’s amazing that this is only $21 a month!

The Note Cosmetics Blush is extremely pigmented. I got this Blush in the shade 05 Desert Rose, it is a vibrant coral pink shade. It feels a little drying but blends out very well. The packaging of this product feels cheaply made but I like that it has a small mirror in the compact.

My favorite products from this box are the Tarte Setting Spray, the Dr. Brandt Eye De-Puffing Gel and the Wander Beauty Mascara. These products were the most exciting for me. Overall, I am so happy to have everything from this box added to my makeup collection! If you would like to join Boxycharm feel free to use my referral code at checkout: Steph-UEWVPIQO

I hope you enjoyed this post and remember to subscribe for email notifications for when I post new content and comment down below what you thought about this month’s Boxycharm!

June BootayBag (6/28/2018)

I am overly excited to open my BootayBag this month! This was such a great subscription to join and I’m so happy I canceled my other subscriptions to do this one. It’s cheaper and I haven’t had to run to the store to buy new underwear in a while! The underwear they send is always super cute and you can either choose to get a thong, never thong, or let them surprise you if you don’t care.

This month I got a pair of royal blue lacy never thong underwear! They are super silky, they fit comfortably, there is not really a noticeable underwear line and they look very cute on. I am really happy with what I got this month and am already excited to see what I’ll get next month! If you want to join BootayBag feel free to use my referral code to get your first month discounted: http://i.refs.cc/Mhc33EWE?u=1528341747108!
