Influenster VoxBox: Degree Deodorant (4/24/2019)

Hey everyone! Today’s post is going to be one of my favorite posts that I do on my blog. Why? Because this post has to do with reviewing free products and free is for me. If you want to learn more about how I get these free products then read on. But if you already know how Influenster works then feel free to scroll down after the explanation of Influenster because I will also be reviewing the products I got.

So let’s get into it!!

What is Influenster?

Influenster is a completely free app that is available on Android and Apple phones/tablets. This company gives you free products from thousands of brands, even well known brands that you’ve more than likely heard of or seen before. Did I say completely free? Yes. The app is completely free. Just download it, sign up and get started.

How do I get free products after signing up?

Well it’s easy but also complicated. Let me explain– on this app you can make yourself more eligible to get free products by searching and reviewing products you’ve purchased, answer and ask questions, and you complete snaps. Snaps are sets of reviews that are directed towards you to help you review products you may have had experience with.

What else is a factor of getting free products?

Well a huge factor is your impact score. With Influenster, you connect all of your social media accounts. Influenster then gives you an overall impact score. This impact score is compiled of all the people that you are friends with as well as how many people follow you on social media. The higher the impact score, the higher chance you have of getting free products also known as VoxBoxes.

Another factor is your badges. The more you review specific genres of products, you gain badges for those genres. The more genres you’ve unlocked boost your chances of getting chosen for a VoxBox. The higher level badges should be things you actually like because that will help determine what kinds of VoxBoxes you will receive.

Are there any other badges I can get?

Yes! Sometimes Influenster will run campaigns where you can receive a badge just for editing and uploading picture to your profile using their photo editor in the app or just for making a list, or reviewing a product. If you look at the picture above the badges “#HalloWin”, “#InfluensterEats”, and “#GiftCrush” were all campaigns they ran where I only had to review a product or upload a selfie. There are also VirtualVoxes, Virtual Badges or Virtual Challenges. These are also campaigns ran by Influenster where you can get a badge without receiving a VoxBox. The Virtual badges usually involve you uploading a picture using specific hashtags on your social media accounts, and sometimes it goes as far as taking a photo or testing/buying a product at a store and testing it out. Gaining these badges boosts your possibility of getting a VoxBox.

What happens when I get a VoxBox?

When you get a VoxBox you will check in your VoxBox and then you will complete mandatory activities that include but not limited to following companies on social media, posting photos on your social media accounts and reviewing the products. Once you complete all of the activities then you unlock the badge. It’s not over yet, make sure when you sign up for Influenster you use an email that you have easy access to. I say this because Influenster sends you mandatory time sensitive surveys you have to take through your email.

Now for the product review…

Influenster sent me a VoxBox for Degree Deodorant Wipes. I was super excited about getting this VoxBox because it was the first ever box I got that I was instructed to share with someone else. That was super cool to me and I really loved that aspect of this VoxBox. I got wipes for myself and for my boyfriend Ryan. We both tested this product out so I will let you all know both of our reviews.

In this VoxBox I got a men’s deodorant wipes package and a women’s deodorant wipes package. The women’s deodorant wipes in the scent Citrus and Bergamot which smelled nice and citrus-y. I felt that these wipes were just as good as any stick or roll on deodorant. The only thing I noticed was that the scent didn’t last too long. Ryan tested out the men’s deodorant wipes in the scent Cool Rush. Him and I loved the smell of his wipes and this is what he said about them: “The wipes are really great. I don’t use them for my main deodorant because I don’t think it’s as strong as a stick deodorant. I’m a guy, so I need something that will last all day and the scent goes away after 5-10 minutes. Otherwise, I like to use these wipes to freshen up. It’s great when you’re working all day and you can just wipe down with them.” Overall, we liked these wipes and I want to thank Influenster and Degree for sending me this complimentary VoxBox in exchange for my reviews.

I hope you enjoyed this post and if you are interested in signing up for Influenster feel free to use my referral link: Join Influenster Now. Make sure to leave a comment down below what your thoughts are on these wipes and remember to subscribe for email notifications for when I post new content.

BootayBag April 2019 (4/14/2019)

Hey everyone! I hope y’all had an amazing day today. I wanted to pop in and show you all the BootayBag from this month and also talk a little about why I love this monthly subscription so much. So let’s get into it.

BootayBag is a subscription where they send you underwear each month for $9-$13 per month. The price all depends on what type of subscription you have. I opt to only get one pair a month which costs me $9 a month. You can even choose what kinds of underwear you want and what size you want to get. They have no thongs option which means you’ll only get full coverage underwear, they have only thong which is when you only get thong underwear and lastly there is mix it up where you get surprised. My subscription is no thong and I only get one pair per month.

This month I got these super cute neon coral and yellow underwear. They are honestly perfect for the upcoming summer months and they are super comfortable. These are definitely going to be my go-to the next few months. I always have a few seriously comfy underwear that I continuously go back to because honestly I don’t wanna wear something that is restricting and is just plain uncomfortable.

I really love this subscription because honestly, as women we all know how easy it is to 1) forget to buy underwear 2) run out of clean underwear and 3) ruin your underwear. This takes away the need for me to remember to buy it, keeps me from running out and replaces old/ruined underwear. Plus it’s super affordable unlike other stores that charge $15 for a pair of underwear. If you’re interested in getting this subscription feel free to use my referral link: https://bootaybag.com/?smile_referral_code=Mhc33EWE&st_intent=st%3Areferrals%3Acustomer-offers%3AMhc33EWE&utm_campaign=smileio_referrals&utm_medium=referral_url

This link will give you 50% off of one months subscription. I hope you enjoyed this post and remember to subscribe for email notifications for when I post new content.

Winter FabFitFun 2019 (2/24/2019)

Hey everyone! I wanted to share what was in my FabFitFun box for this winter. I was super excited to get this box as I am every season. This box only comes four times a year but it had the best items inside. It’s one of my favorite boxes out of all subscription boxes I’ve tried. So let’s get into what’s inside this magical box.

This might honestly be the best box I’ve gotten yet. This FabFitFun 2019 winter season I got some amazing items and products. The first thing that I’m absolutely in love with is the Mark & Graham tan knit scarf. It’s lightweight but huge and gorgeous.

Something else I absolutely loved in this box was the Brooke Burke Body exercise disks. These are so amazing and with the disks we get free workouts. They are great for at home workouts and quick workouts for days you don’t have enough time. They’re easy to use and are great quality.

The next thing I loved in this box was the full-size Oribe dry shampoo. I love this dry shampoo and always had travel sizes because I constantly got it in my many subscription boxes. As you may know I cancelled my subscriptions so I ended up running out of the dry shampoo. I was happy to finally own a full-size version of this product.

The last favorite item of mine is the Moroccan Gold Series Hair Moisturizing Treatment Mask. This mask works so well for my dry and bleached hair. It makes my hair very silky and takes away a lot of the frizz that comes with my naturally curly hair. I use this mask twice a week now and it’s become a holy grail product for me.

The other items may not be listed as my favorite but they are still just as amazing. I got the PUR Cosmetics Be Your Selfie eyeshadow palette, thrive cosmetics highlighting stick, Anthropologie body cream, Blaq eye masks, and Ahava hydration cream mask. These things are all amazing and this box was definitely one for the books.

I hope you enjoyed this post and if you are interested in signing up for FabFitFun feel free to use my referral link and get $10 to spend: http://xo.fff.me/jal5G. Remember to subscribe for email notifications for when I post new content and make sure to comment below what item you liked the most from this box.

Influenster VoxBox Unboxing: Garnier Fructis Curl Treats (1/21/2019)

Hey everyone! I’m super excited to announce that I got yet another VixBox from Influenster. Influenster sends me free products to test out and you can get free products from them too! Just read below how you can get free products to test for just your reviews in exchange. For the next few paragraphs I will explain what Influenster is and how to get a completely free VoxBox. If you already know what Influenster is, feel free to skip through these next few explanations.

So what is Influenster? Influenster is a website and app that allows people to share their opinions on products and get free things in exchange for those reviews. Influenster is completely free to join and you don’t even have to pay for the item or even shipping when you get products sent to your door. This does come with a twist though– any product they send you, you have to follow Influenster’s guidelines on how to review the products. You have full ability to not like or like the products but if you want to continue getting free products you have to make sure you follow the steps Influenster instructs you to take when reviewing the product. This could be to reviewing it on the company’s website, or just sharing a photo of the product.

To make that last explanation a little more clear I’m going to discuss what a VoxBox is, how you get them and what you need to do after you get it. So, a VoxBox is a box you get sent with free product(s) inside and yes sometimes there is multiple items in a box. It costs you nothing to get but you need to do something in order to be in the drawing for one.

You have to review products and earn expert badges. There are tons of different categories you can be an expert in, and this will direct what kinds of boxes you will be getting. So for example, I got an expert badge in Beauty by reviewing a ton of beauty products on the Influenster app and I get mostly beauty related VoxBoxes. There are also themed badges that come around during holidays that you can get as well. For example, I received a badge for Halloween just by clicking on the badge and completing the assignment of reviewing my favorite candy on the Influenster app. The more badges you get whether expert or themed badges, the higher your chances are in getting a VoxBox.

Another way you can up your chances of getting a VoxBox is by connecting all of your social media accounts. This will go towards your impact score. Your impact score is a complied number of followers, subscribers, and friends across all of your social media accounts. The higher your impact score (i.e. the more followers, subscribers and friends you have) the more likely it is that you’ll get a VoxBox. You now can also follow other friends and people on the Influenster app.

Something else that will help your chances of getting a VoxBox you’d like is to do Snaps. Snaps are reviews of products that Influenster thinks you would enjoy more or know more about. You can also make video reviews, as well as lists on Influenster of your favorite products, best products for winter etc. and you can answer/ask questions and this will give you points toward your discussion posts.

Important things that are MANDATORY to get a VoxBox is to look out for emails that say you have a chance of getting a VoxBox and VoxBox surveys. These will come through the email you use for your account so make sure that you choose an email that isn’t too cluttered so these emails don’t get lost. Also, after you get the VoxBox you will get an email survey about the VoxBox you just reviewed. If you want more VoxBoxes that review is mandatory and there is a deadline for when you can complete the review which is usually a couple of days.

What do you do once you get a VoxBox? Well if you go onto your profile on Influenster there will be a badge that pops up and is related to the product you got. It will either say the company’s name or the product you are testing. Once you click on that badge there are a bunch of little assignments that Influenster asks you to complete. These are mandatory to do as well in the time frame they give you (VoxBox “campaigns” last from a month to a few weeks). These little assignments will ask you to share photos on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram, review on Influenster, the company’s website or Sephora/Ulta etc. Sometimes they will ask you to make a Pinterest Board that is related to the product and other easy activities. Once you complete them you will earn the badge and this will help your chances of getting another VoxBox and a lot of the time it puts you in the drawing for a prize from that company or a MEGA VoxBox which is a very large box with a ton of products inside. Influenster also throws Twitter, and Facebook “parties” for certain VoxBox “campaigns” and if you live tweet or live engage with them on Facebook you will be in the drawing for a MEGA VoxBox or more products from the company.

Now that we’ve covered all the bases, let’s discuss my VoxBox from Garnier.

I got two products to test for free in exchange for my review. These products are full size which is absolutely amazing. The one product I got was their Butter Hydration Cream and the Jelly Shaping. These products are supposed to give your hair 24 hour frizz control, hydrate your hair and keep your locks looking luscious. I followed the instructions two separate times and applied while my hair was damp. I absolutely loved the outcome of this product. My hair looked shiny, bouncy, my curls were more defined and there was minimal frizz. I personally feel that the Jelly works the best! Overall, I love these products and I am thankful to have gotten this for free to test.

I hope you enjoyed this post and remember to subscribe for email notifications for when I post new content and make sure to comment down below what your thoughts are on Influenster and the VoxBox. Boxycharm October 2018 Unboxing (10/26/2018)

Hey beauties! I’m super excited to unbox this month’s Boxycharm with you all. I thought it was so crazy that both Ipsy and Boxycharm had a masquerade mask as their theme. That is the first thing that came to mind when I saw this box and opened it. I loved a lot of the products here and I cannot wait to share them with you guys!

So, the first thing I got that caught my eye was the Farmacy Green Clean Facial Melt Cleanser. I was so excited to get this because I’ve used it before and it completely melts all makeup away! Thankfully I got it in full size so I can enjoy using this product for a little while longer before having to purchase more! The second product I got was It Cosmetics Superhero mascara and I was super happy about this because t’s a pretty good mascara. The next product in my bag was Dermovia Lace A Peel Black Bamboo Charcoal Peel Off Mask. As we all know I have sensitive dry skin so this definitely isn’t for me so it wasn’t my favorite product but I do still enjoy getting products that I wouldn’t use so I can give it to friends or family I know that would enjoy. The fourth product I got was the PUR Midnight Masquerade face palette which is pretty pigmented and I could definitely see myself using those products. The fifth and final thing I got was a Kat Von D liquid lipstick in K-Dub. I’m super excited about getting KVD in a box but I’m not stoked about the color. K-Dub is a vibrant purple and I would never use that shade in public.

Otherwise I was pretty happy with my Boxycharm this month! I hope you enjoyed reading this post and remember to subscribe for email notifications for when I post new content and make sure To Comment down below what your thoughts are on this month’s Boxycharm. What was your favorite product out of everything?

Birchbox Unboxing October 2018 | Birchbox Man and Birchbox (10/24/2018)

Hey beauties! I know that the title of this post is super different from what you’re used to seeing. From now on I will be sharing the contents of my Birchbox as well as Ryan’s Birchbox! Birchbox has boxes for men who are interested in male grooming products. I had signed Ryan up as a small gift for him and he can’t wait to share his opinion with you all on this box.

My BirchBox

For my box I was pretty happy with everything I got. One of the things I am super elated about is the Bumble and Bumble Thickening Go Big Treatment. The other thing I got was Oribe Thick Dry Finishing Spray. I was really happy that I got these products because I have fine hair and I definitely would like it to look a little more thick and voluminous. The next thing I was very excited about was the Sand & Sky Australian Pink Clay Mask. I’ve heard so much great stuff about this clay mask and I’ve seen wild skin transformations from people who use it. I can’t wait to test it out for myself. I got an eyeko liquid eyeliner which I’m happy about because getting liquid liner is always a plus. I like to keep them around just in case I ever run out and I don’t have time to go out and buy one. The last thing that came in this month’s Birchbox was Purlisse BB Cream. It’s not exactly something that made me excitable but I do like getting BB Creams for samples just for those days I don’t feel like wearing a full face. The last thing in my box that I got as a promo for signing up (again) was the Benefit High Beam mini highlighter which I was glad to have gotten.

Ryan’s BirchboxMan

In Ryan’s BirchboxMan which he was super excited to open was a bunch of really cool products. I feel that this is the perfect gift for a guy because if they are low maintenance then these little samples will go a long way for them! Plus, they get to try out a bunch of products they wouldn’t necessarily go out and get on their own. So in Ryan’s box the first thing he picked up was the Cambridge Knight English Laundry Cologne. He said it smelled amazing and couldn’t wait to wear it. He then got Jack Black Lip Balm which he was pretty stoked about and he said that the lip balm was very cooling. The next thing in his box was Billy Jealousy Soft Rock Texturizing Clay. He was excited to try this because he has been looking to get a new hair product that works well with the style he is going for. V76 by Vaughn is the fourth product he got which is a hydrating shampoo. He said he feels indifferent about the shampoo since he already has a full bottle of shampoo he uses 24/7 but he’s willing to give this one a shot. The last product in his box is Kiehl’s since 1851 Facial Fuel Energizing Scrub. He’s really excited to test this out because he doesn’t have any exfoliators for his skin at the moment! Ryan overall enjoyed this box and is truly looking forward to getting his next one.

I hope you enjoyed this post and remember to subscribe for email notifications for when I post new content. More of these posts are to come! Comment down below what your thoughts are on these boxes.

Influenster VoxBox Unboxing: Sunday Riley (10/21/2018)

Hey beauties! I’m super excited to share with you guys that I got another VoxBox from Influenster. For the next few paragraphs I will explain what Influenster is and how to get a completely free VoxBox. If you already know what Influenster is, feel free to skip through these next few explanations.

Now that we’ve covered all the bases, let’s discuss my VoxBox from Sunday Riley. I was lucky enough to get their Ceramic Slip facial cleanser. Obviously this was completely free and I was so excited to test this complimentary/free product from Influenster and Sunday Riley. I applied the cleanser to my face in the shower with a full face of makeup on. Within one use my makeup was completely taken off and my skin felt squeaky clean. My pores seemed to be a little smaller and it didn’t dry my face out whatsoever which is a concern for me when I try facial cleansers because I have dry sensitive skin and harsh cleansers will make my skin very dry. I was very happy with this product and I recommend trying this out!

Ipsy Glam Bag October 2018 Unboxing (10/16/2018)

Hey beauties! I was absolutely overly excited about getting this month’s Ipsy Glam Bag. I saw some amazing sneak peek previews on Ipsy’s Instagram and I couldn’t wait to open this bag once I got my hands on it! If you don’t know what Ipsy is, it is a $10 a month beauty subscription where you are sent 5 products each month!

This month the Glam Bag was decorated in bright red leather with a black zipper. If this doesn’t scream Halloween I don’t know what does. On the Bag there is an imprint of a masquerade mask on the front. Again, hello Halloween!! This month’s theme (and yes each month has a special theme) is “Who said nights are for sleep?” I live for this Bag and especially what’s inside.

This month I am so happy with everything I got. First, I got a Perfect Repair Treatment Mask from NatureLab which I was pretty happy about because I could always use a mask! Then I got Sugar Lipstick in shade Its A Pout Time in their Vivid Lipstick Mini which I am not over the top happy about but I could always use a good red lip. The next thing I got was INC. Credible You Glow Girl iridescent highlighter which is something I’ve been meaning to buy for such a long while now. The last thing that I am over the moon about is the Morphe blush, it is so pretty and SO pigmented! The only thing I wasn’t too crazy about getting was the last product from So Susan Cosmetics. I got the Color Trip High Intensity Color Pigment, I’m not opposed to getting loose pigment but the color was a bright purple which is something I would never use. I understand that the color goes along with the whole Halloween theme, I just wish it were a different color!

Otherwise, I am so pleased with this month’s Glam Bag and I can’t wait to get my next one. I hope you enjoyed this post and remember to subscribe for email notifications for when I post new content and make sure to comment down below what your thoughts are on these products.
