Hey fashionistas! Before we get into today’s post I want to let you all know that my blog is super different (obviously)! Ryan and I have been working super hard to make a ton of changes to Not Too Shabby Chic Fashion and it’s almost done. We still have some tweaking to do but I’m happy to say that it is in its final stages.
Tomorrow I will be writing a post on what the changes mean for those of you who want to know what I’ve done to update the blog. It’s also a blog post for those that are curious as to what content will be moved where and what content will be shared from here on out. So, make sure you are keeping a lookout for that post!
Now, let’s get into my favorite thrifted outfits because I definitely have a few that I am just obsessed with! As you may or may not know– I am a seller on Poshmark and I sell secondhand items (some new with tags or new without tags), but I don’t just sell I am also an avid thrift shopper. It’s definitely a passion of mine, I love it and the fact that it’s sustainable is a huge bonus!
Outfit #1
This is one of my MOST favorite thrifted outfits ever. I just recently posted this on my Instagram (you can shop all of these outfits here) and I am totally obsessed. Maybe it’s the outfit with the fact that I also took this in front of an abandoned barn but either way I love this look. The jeans are ones I’ve purchased from Showpo and is the only thing not thrifted in this outfit. I am obsessed with the knit beige tank top tunic that I thrifted from Goodwill. This item was only $1.74 and it’s from the brand JCP a JCPenny clothing line. When I found this top as well as a matching green one I knew I needed both of these in my wardrobe. This top has easily become a go-to. The second and final item that is thrifted are the super cute two tone TOMS open toe sandal heels. This is actually an item I got from Platos Closet for only $14. I intended to resell these on my Poshmark closet BUT I ended up falling in love with them instead. They are the perfect color combination and honestly pull together this whole outfit.
Outfit #2
This adorable outfit was one I wore while I took a little walk in an old cute town close to where I live. There is only one item in this outfit that I’ve thrifted but it has to be my all time favorite item I’ve found. My friend and I stopped at a small family owned thrift shop and we decided to search for some cute items. I found this adorable Kate Spade button up for only $30. Yes, it was a little pricier than your standard thrift shop BUT it’s so worth it. This top paired perfectly with some cute skinny jeans, some converse and a pair of my TOMS sunglasses I got from my FabFitFun subscription box (if you’re interested in getting FabFitFun feel free to use my referral link: Stephanie’s FabFitFun Referral)!
Outfit #3
I love this outfit I have on so much! It’s super cozy but also the right amount of chic and comfortable. What’s a better mix than fashion and comfort? So, I’m sure I have talked about these before on here but the jeans in this outfit are a pair of vintage Calvin Klein Mom Jeans. I was able to score these from Poshmark for $36. It was a last minute purchase though it’s been a purchase that has paid off. I’ve worn these jeans more times than I can count and they’re still holding up. Technically the jacket is not a necessarily “thrifted” item but this is one of my mother’s old suede coats from the 90s that I’ve taken. This outfit is so cute and I am still obsessing over it months later.
Outfit #4
Here’s another item that I was going to resell on my Poshmark closet but instead fell in love. These GAP bootcut jeans I got from Goodwill for $6. They are low to mid waist which is a little low for my liking but they hug the body in all the right places. I also love that they are truly the perfect shade of blue. I paired this with a cute tan plaid top from NASTYGAL, a large white belt and some nude heels! Can we also talk about the incredible angle of this photo?! Like #modelstatus much! From the angle to the outfit itself I am truly obsessed.
Outfit #5
The last item of my favorite thrifted outfits is this Tommy Hilfiger navy blue knit sweater. I got this sweater for only $4.99 at Goodwill and I was so happy. I am reselling it since after this photoshoot was done I no longer had a need for it BUT it definitely is a favorite outfit of mine. I paired this with a pair of white corduroy wide leg pants. This is actually currently for sale on my Poshmark closet if you are interested! I love how cozy this outfit is and how cheap I got everything for.
That concludes my favorite thrifted outfits post but overall I love thrifting and I’m sure there are more favorite thrifted outfits to come. Make sure to check in on tomorrow’s post that has all to do with my blog! I hope you enjoyed this post and remember to subscribe for email notifications for when I post new content and make sure to comment down below what your favorite thrifted item from these outfits are!
