Got My Hair Done— New Look

Hey beauties! I’m excited to share with you all that I have tried a new look in terms of my hair. I just got it done– which I am overly thankful for because I really needed it. Not only did my hair need a fresh dye and cut but I also needed a spa day and getting my hair done was the perfect remedy for a de-stressing day.

I really just wanted a new and fresh look and I knew exactly what I wanted. As you can see I definitely needed a trim because my hair grew so long over the summer, and I definitely wanted my hair to be dyed. So I have my hair dresser freedom in terms of how to cut my hair and I explained to her what I wanted. I wanted it lighter because of course more blonde means more fun, right?

So she started to bleach my hair; I don’t get highlights but I get balayage which is “hair painting”. I get this because when it grows out it looks much more natural and it’s easier to upkeep. She put my hair in tinfoil to keep the heat contained so my hair lifted faster. We decided on a brighter and more ashy blonde, I was excited to see the results.

Of course, as always I absolutely loved my hair. My hair dresser Diana does such an amazing job every time. It’s super blonde and the perfect length, if only I had Diana come over every day to do my hair! I really love this change and I think I’m going to keep it this way. I think once you go blonde, you continuously go even blonder! It is almost like an obsession.

I’m very happy with my hair and I hope you enjoyed reading this post and remember to subscribe for email notifications for when I post new content and make sure to comment down below what your thoughts are on my hair! Do you love to change and play with your hair?

-Stay Chic,

Stephanie Russell
