Inkbox Review & Collab

Hey beauties! I am doing a collab today with the blogger Alexa The Girl Gamer! We both decided to review a pretty cool product called the Inkbox. If you haven’t heard of Inkbox it is a company that sends you adult temporary tattoos that last for up to 18 days!

I am obsessed that it came in a package that says “Temporary Bad Decisions,” like how cute is that?! This is honestly an amazing company for people like me, who don’t want a tattoo because we are super indecisive. I can still have a fun tattoo but not have the permanence of an actual tattoo!

What is amazing about this company is that they use all natural ingredients, they don’t test on animals, it is water resistant, it lasts long and it develops within 24-48 hours! You can either get a pre-made tattoo (which is what I did) or you can get ink to freehand it yourself! I got this tattoo for $16, but I paid $19 if you include shipping!

The cute little phrases on the packaging were one of my favorite parts about this. So, in your Inkbox package you will receive information about your tattoo on the inside of the packaging, an instructions manual, a pair of plastic gloves, a cloth, the tattoo, and an alcohol wipe.

Step 1: Find where you want to place the tattoo and peel off the white backing and place it on the skin (you only get one shot at this so make sure it’s exactly how and where you want it.

Step 2: Make sure the edges are stuck down and peel off the black top layer. Don’t touch the navy blue colored layer with your fingers.

Step 3: Tear the corner of the cloth and put it in the microwave for 15 seconds and take the alcohol wipe and dab the wipe on the blue square ONLY.

Step 4: Take the hot cloth and apply hard pressure for 30 seconds and firm pressure for 15 minutes. Do not move around during this step.

Step 5: Take off cloth slowly and peel the white sticker off carefully!

Viola, you have a tattoo!

For reference, I am allergic to tape/glue and it usually tears my skin off when I rip it up. So throughout these pictures you might see broken blood vessels or irritated skin like above! This does not mean this happens with everyone, I am just allergic to the tape that was on my skin.

This is the development of the tattoo over time! In 48 hours it looks like a real tattoo! I’m super impressed with this product and definitely recommend purchasing one! You can use my referral code: http://i.refs.cc/CJvubsB6 which will give you $10 off!

Definitely go over to Alexa The Girl Gamers Page and check out her inkbox tattoo post! She got a really cute one! Here’s the link to her blog: Alexa The Girl Gamer Blog!

I hope you enjoyed this post and comment below if you’d be willing to do Inkbox!

-Stay Chic,

Stephanie Russell
