Soft Glam Palette Review

Anastasia Beverly Hills has done it again! Another sister palette to Modern Renaissance has come out and I have been overly excited to try it. Now I get nervous when buying eyeshadow palettes from Anastasia Beverly Hills because of the Subculture palette. I don’t want to spend money on a palette that doesn’t work. But I took the chance and prayed it would be like Modern Renaissance.

The packaging is very similar to both Modern Renaissance and Subculture with the fuzzy outside and simple font. I love the color they chose for this palettes packaging because I feel that this tan shade definitely says “soft glam”!

I really love the shade range in this palette. For some reason this palette almost reminds me of a southern belle. I have to say, even though it may not look like it my shade Sultry was broken apart in the pan when it was mailed to me. I took some rubbing alcohol and sprayed some on a cotton swab and fixed it myself but I was pretty disappointed that it came to me damaged.

The shadows themselves are like a dream. It definitely is the same formula as ABH’s Modern Renaissance palette which makes me very happy. They are all silky and pigmented. The only shade I had trouble with is Burnt Orange which needed to be built up. My favorite shades from this palette have to be Orange Soda, Rose Pink, Mulberry, Dusty Rose, Sienna and Rustic! This palette is a must have!

I hope you enjoyed this post and remember to subscribe for email notifications for when I post new content and also comment below what your favorite shade is from this palette.
