Best Dry Shampoos

Dry shampoo is a girl’s best friend, as well as a college student’s best friend. Since I happen to be both a girl and a college student, I think dry shampoo is the best invention since sliced bread and I’m not just saying that. I remember growing up without dry shampoo always having to put baby powder in my hair during the days I didn’t wash my hair. Thankfully I had blonde hair and you could barely see it, but it didn’t make it any less annoying. Then someone came out with the same concept of powder in your hair but put it in a spraying can. I never went back to baby powder and have consistently repurchased dry shampoo since I got my first can. Which also means I’ve tried a lot of brands of dry shampoo! So which ones are the best in my opinion?

In order of what I like the most:

I have always loved Amika products but their dry shampoo is the best! The product makes your hair feel clean like you just jumped out of the shower and the scent of their products is my favorite! I also really love their dry conditioner (and yes that’s a thing, and yes it’s amazing)!

DryBar has really great products and I ended up trying this dry shampoo because Amika was sold out and this was the second best option. I tried it and it worked so well! My hair felt super clean and didn’t feel like there was leftover residue in my hair like a lot of dry shampoos I have tried.

The best bang for your buck! This dry shampoo is just as good as the leading brands for a quarter of the cost. It does the job just as well and it even comes in a decent size can.

I am also a huge fan of IGK and this Jet Lag dry shampoo is great! I have the mini size for travel and I love having it in my purse, in my travel bag and on-the-go constantly. The smell is very nice and it makes my hair feel clean but doesn’t dry it out too much where it makes the hair stiff.

Bumble and Bumble

This is a great dry shampoo and it makes the hair a tad bit more textured than the other brands above but I like to use this product when I want more volume and lift to my hair. This definitely helps with making the hair feel cleaner but also provides volume.

I hope you enjoyed my list of dry shampoos and comment below what your favorite dry shampoos are.
