I had a fun spring break, that involved a lot of traveling but it was amazing! I enjoyed having a break from the stresses of school but also I got to spend time with my friends from home and my family! This break was definitely needed, but where did I go?
Spring Break:
The start of my spring break it was my boyfriend’s birthday (which I have wrote a post about already). But we went to Sandy Hook, NJ! I had so much fun celebrating his birthday. I won’t spoil too much since I will have a separate post explaining what we did!
The second day of spring break, my friend group and I went to the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in town! It was everyone else’s first time going on the St. Patrick’s Day Parade In my friend group, except me. We then went to a local bar to grab some food and listen to some live music!
The third day of spring break we went to the Touch Museum in Philadelphia for my nephews 1st birthday! It was so cute to see my nephews and nieces so excited and running around to touch everything! There was also a really cool warped Alice In Wonderland section of the museum.
The fourth day I went to the gym with my bestie and got our weight lifting on! We also walked on the treadmill and did abs. We both decided to start being healthy and work out, so we felt the gym was a great place to start! Dieting doesn’t matter if you aren’t exercising, you can’t define muscle without working out!
My fifth day of spring break Ryan and I went to the Absecon Lighthouse in NJ! It is the tallest lighthouse in NJ and the third tallest in the country. We met a volunteer worker at the lighthouse named Buddy, he is over 90 years-old and walks up the lighthouse stairs 5 days a week to give tours!
My sixth day of spring break, we went to the arcade and came back to my house to play heads up! We ended up getting enough points to cash in from the arcade and get Irish hats for all four of us. My seventh day, I decided to stay home and just relax.
My eighth day of spring break was St. Patrick’s Day. We had family dinner at my house (which I wrote about) that also included a traditional meal, dessert and movie. This is definitely one of my favorite holidays.
My ninth day of spring break we went to the Tuckerton Lighthouse in NJ! This light house was beautiful and set at an old fish market! There was also a museum on the premises and a netting zoo with goats and sheep (I even fed a goat some hay)!
And the next day I was back at school! It was overall an amazing spring break and I successfully was able to relax and enjoy it!
I hope you enjoyed this journey through my spring break and don’t forget to subscribe to get email notifications when I post new content!
