Influenster, if you didn’t know, is an amazing app that allows you to get free products in exchange for reviews! I know it sounds way too good to be true but I promise you it’s no gimmick. This VoxBox is actually my fifth VoxBox and I couldn’t be more thankful to have received it! Everything in this post was given to me for free to test in exchange for my reviews.
I was lucky enough to get a VoxBox to try out LOreal’s new ELVIVE revive total repair damage erasing balm! I was super happy to have received this one because there were different products you could have gotten. Having dry and bleach treated hair, I’m sure it’s easy to tell that I would need all of the damage repair I can get. So getting this product was already a godsend for me.
As I opened the package I had gotten a card that stated “Daily brushing, heat tools and overworking can cause split ends, weakness, roughness, dullness and dehydration. This rinse out hair mask deeply conditions and recharges the hair fiber to fight the five signs of damage.” I have two of the five signs of damage: weakness and dehydration. Hopefully after using this hair mask it will help the damage done to my hair!
So I opened the balm to smell it and it smells amazing! I usually stay away from bad smelling hair products. Most of the time if the product has a bad and/or strong scent I will smell it the whole day! This is why I stray away from those kinds of products, thankfully this product smells delicious.
It was time to finally try it out, so I read the instructions on how to use it. The card read “How to use: After using shampoo, apply balm to wet hair and massage through ends. Leave for 3-5 minutes. Rinse. For continuous visible repair, use every day.” This was great news considering I’ve only used hair masks that take 10-25 minutes, which is a pain if you’re a busy person. But this hair mask is definitely something that anyone can fit into their daily routine. I followed the instructions and used the balm for a week, I also allowed my hair to air dry so I didn’t further damage my hair with a blow dryer. After the week I could tell my hair was a lot softer and hydrated. I noticed a very slight difference in the weakness in my hair. It did feel a tad stronger but it wasn’t a crazy difference, if I used it for longer then I feel that it might have made my hair a little more stronger.
All in all I really liked this product and would definitely recommend this to anyone because of the amazing difference in the hydration of my hair. Also, I feel that this hair mask is great for anyone that is busy and is looking for something quick to use as a hair mask that actually works.
