Laura Lee Los Angeles X ColourPop Collab Review

Laura Lee and ColourPop did a collab together for a no kill shelter called No Kill LA (NKLA). All of the profits from purchases of this collaboration went towards the NKLA shelter! I was already sold when I heard all of the proceeds go to No Kill LA. As an animal lover, I needed this collaboration in my makeup collection. It meant a lot for me to support /help animals in any way I can. What better and fun way to help than to buy makeup and spread the word! Not only is it a great cause to buy makeup to put money towards, but ColourPop does a collaboration with NKLA every year! I had no idea they did this before, and I’m so happy I know now. Now I can make sure I buy any NKLA collab they come out with.

First up is the lip bundle from this collaboration! The bundle originally costed $19.50 but is on sale right now for $16. It’s definitely a bang for your buck with it being on sale for $16. The packaging is sleek and cute as well!

You can also buy each lip product individually and each costs $6.50 each. Wham is more of a gloss you can put over a lip to give it that extra shine, and Glam is a perfectly pigmented metallic lippie! I love the rose gold color of Glam! With Bam, I noticed to get an even coat of lipstick on you have to do two coats. Without putting on two coats of lipstick, it will look patchy and uneven in color application. The swatch of Bam is only one swipe and you can tell that it’s a tad patchy with one coat.

With the eyeshadow quad bundle. This bundle is $18 and is also a steal considering that each shadow is $5 if you were to purchase them individually. Purchasing all four individually would leave you with a total of $20, so you are saving if you get the bundle! The packaging is super cute and I’m in love with the little gold paw on each of the shadows!

Ritz is a beautiful shimmer shade, which looks good on the lid or the inner corners of the eye. Glitz is a beautiful mauve pink color, this shade has a ton of pigment! Another extremely pigmented shade is Shiny, a reddish auburn shade. Lastly, Hiney is a beautiful rose gold metallic shade, this shade is best applied with finger application. Every shade felt so smooth it was like dipping into a cloud and it was almost like a creamy to powder type formula. It was a different consistency than I was used to but once I was used to working with these types of shadows… they blend like a dream!

I hope you enjoyed reading this post and comment down below what your favorite animal is! Mine is a lion!
