I’m sure I am not alone when I say that I have been trying to get my hands on the Jaclyn Hill x Morphe palette for a long time! It is finally back in stock and I was able to grab one to test out for myself.
It’s a gorgeous palette that can definitely give you tons of looks, without dipping into another palette. The whole bottom left corner of the palette caught my eye because of how vibrant and colorful it is!
So from left to right these are going in order of where they are in the palette. Starting with the top left shade. I missed swatching the top right pink shade Little Lady sadly. But as you can see these shadows are very pigmented. What kind of bothered me though was that there was a lot more metallic colors than matte colors. That is really up to preference but I’d rather have more matte shades because I rarely do a complete look with metallics.
Again going from left to right with these swatches. I felt with this palette, the matte shades were a bit chalkier (which is a normal consistency for Morphe shadows) and the metallics were extremely buttery and had more of a color pay-off.
These are the last few shades from left to right. I did a makeup look using this palette and I felt that the shadows blended out seamlessly. There was some fallout with the matte shades but nothing to really be concerned about. The metallics also felt as buttery applied with a brush, as they did when swatching with fingers.
I hope you enjoyed reading and let me know which shade is your favorite from this palette!
