Bath time is definitely the time to pamper yourself. And on the contrary to popular belief, baths are actually great for women’s health! It’s a time to relax, and de-stress. So let’s jump into my routine!
The first thing I do before taking a bath is prep my skin! How do I do this? I take off all of my makeup from that day with makeup remover wipes. Then I proceed to cleanse my face with SkinActive micellar cleansing water from Garnier and a my Purity Made Simple Philosophy cleanser.
By this time my face is squeaky clean and free of any makeup. Next, I exfoliate my skin with Herbalife Instant Reveal Berry Scrub. After about 10 minutes I use a face mask. Usually it’s a brightening or hydrating face mask. I wait the proper amount of time the face mask calls for and then take it off. I then run the hot water to fill the tub and do an under eye mask for these extremely tired eyes. While I’m waiting to the tub to fill I put in my homemade bubble bar that was seen in my DIY Spa Party post, or I use bubble bath. Once the bath is full and bubbly, I drop in a bath bomb to make it smell amazing and add a color to the water.
Next I light a candle, remove my under eye mask and hop in. Now, this routine is all up to your personal preference depending on if you want to play music, drink wine, read a book or do all of those things at once! After I finish my bath, I drain the water and shower. I do a usual shower routine and get out of the shower.
Once I’m out of the shower I apply Johnson and Johnson Baby Oil Gel with Shea and Cocoa Butter, this helps moisturize the skin. After everything I put on a gel moisturizer, I use either GinZing from Origins or Hydroboost by Neutrogena. I use the gel moisturizer first, and then on top I use a cream moisturizer by Neal’s Yard Remedies Frankincense Hydrating Cream.
